Requirements to work as a teacher in South Korea
If you require criminal conviction information from the Ministry of Justice to be able to work as a teacher in South Korea, you must:
- Follow the application instructions on the Get a copy of your criminal record page but atttach a coversheet stating the following:
- Your application is for work as a teacher in South Korea
- You require the result to be on original letterhead with ink signature
- You give the Ministry of Justice permission to forward your document to the Department of Internal Affairs for Apostille.
- Contact the Authentication Unit of the Department of Internal Affairs regarding their fee for the Apostille and delivery of your document. You can call them on 0800 872 675 or e-mail authentication@egs.govt.nz
There is no fee for the Ministry of Justice service.
